A lovely clean piece of beech was used to make this simple form, with three accent lines added for a bit of style. The lines are created by making small grooves with a skew chisel, then using a piece of thin wire to create friction in the grooves while the lathe is turning, scorching the wood.
Handmade in England by Percy.
15cm wide, 8cm high.
Note: This is a decorative item for ornamental display or practical use only (you could keep your keys in it, for example). Not designed to hold liquids or for food use.
